Three packages run in Maharashtra together. For PNC Infratech, the Nanded to Jalna Expressway. For Kaluwala Construction, the Phaltan to Dahiwadi road on NH-160 in Satara district and the Beed works on NH-52 and NH-561A. The last two share one crew roster.
On the expressway the rock is basalt. It wears liners faster than most stone and pays for it with an aggregate that comes off strong and stays cubical. We first worked Deccan basalt on the Samruddhi Mahamarg in 2019 and 2020, where 23,50,863 tonnes went across the weighbridge.
