What buyers ask before they ask a rate
Answered here so the first call can be about your package instead. If yours is missing, WhatsApp beats any form on this site for speed.
The plant, the output and the date
01Is the plant yours, or hired in for the job?
Ours. Six crusher plants, twenty excavators, fifty-five tippers and ten drilling machines, with loaders, rollers, graders and weighbridges behind them. What that buys you is a date we control. A firm quoting off the rental market is quoting on machines it has not found yet, and you find out which kind you hired only after the programme has slipped a fortnight.
02How much material can you actually produce in a month?
120,000 MT a month is what the six plants actually dispatch between them, not their ceiling. The figure worth planning against is the per-plant one: a 250 TPH three-stage unit holds 25,000 to 30,000 MT a month on two shifts, monsoon aside, so there is headroom in the fleet and the question is which plant is free rather than whether the tonnes exist. Anything above that means dedicating a second plant to you, and that is a conversation to have a season ahead. Once the plants are committed for the year, they are committed.
03Where do you have plants running right now?
Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh carry the live work. Rajasthan is home. Earlier packages took us into Bihar, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Manipur, so a plant crossing the country is something we have costed, dismantled and rebuilt before, not something we would be trying for the first time on your site.
04How long from order to steady production?
Roughly a month where the access is decent. Two weeks to move plant, machines and crew, then two weeks to erect, commission and get the grading holding steady. Three things break that estimate: an approach road that will not take a low-bed, a start pushed into the monsoon, and a lease still waiting on its permissions. All three happen. You will hear about them at quotation stage, not in month two.
Leases, dockets and vendor forms
01Do we need to hold the mine lease, or do you?
Both arrangements are normal here. The common one is your lease: the mineral stays yours, and we arrive with the plant, the machines, the operators and the answerability for whatever comes off the belt. The other suits clients with no appetite for running a quarry. Then we work our own leases and you buy finished material by the tonne, delivered.
02How do we know we got the tonnes we paid for?
On weight, never on an estimate. Every tipper crosses a calibrated weighbridge and leaves with a numbered docket, and there are ten of them across our operations. Match your gate register to our dockets at month end. Where a line disagrees, the docket number says which load to go and look at.
03Can you meet our vendor registration requirements?
Yes, usually the same day you ask. Shri Krishan Construction India Pvt Ltd is a registered private limited company, so GST, PAN, CIN, work orders, completion certificates and bank details sit in one file and go out on request. PNC Infratech and MKC have each put us through their own onboarding, so the forms your purchase desk sends are ones we have filled before.
Who we supply, and how to start
01Which contractors have you supplied?
PNC Infratech, L&T, MKC Infrastructure, NCC Limited, Kaluwala Construction and GHV Infra are the ones a purchase desk will know. PNC is the longest of them: five completed packages since 2016, the Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg and the Patna to Buxar road among them, with the sixth in production now on the Nanded to Jalna expressway. Nobody gives the same firm a sixth package unless the first five arrived on programme.
02What sizes and gradings do you produce?
GSB to MoRTH Clause 401 and WMM to Clause 406, then single-size 40mm, 20mm and 10mm aggregate, crusher dust and boulder. Decks are screened to whatever grading your contract specifies, not to a house standard. If the specification moves mid-project, or the lab keeps failing a fraction on flakiness, the decks change and the feed rate comes down until samples pass.
03What do you need from us to quote?
Four things. Where the site is, what material and grading, how many MT a month, and when you want the first load. Lead distance from our plant to your road head moves the rate more than anything else on that list. WhatsApp reaches somebody who runs plants, not a mailbox that gets opened on Monday.
More specific questions
The narrower questions sit on the service pages: what a plant installed at your site actually costs to run, how close to housing we are allowed to blast, how many metres a drill really covers in a day of hard rock.
